Key Food Cooperative, Inc. is independently owned supermarket cooperative, which was founded in Brooklyn, New York, 20 April 1937. The stores in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Head of Key cooperative food on Staten Island, CEO Dean Janewayové. The cooperative also operates stores under central Key Food Circular and natural, Food Dynasty, Urban Market, Food World, Food Universe Marketplace Super Fresh and Food Emporium banners.
In November 2015 the company will buy 23 stores from A & P in bankruptcy, bringing the total number of Key Food Circular under his leadership to 212 shops, including branches Pathmark, A & P, Waldbaums, Food Emporium and the basics of food in the US .
